Harmony Monterey
This was my first Harmony guitar.

I bought it in the early 1980's from a small shop
in Simsbury, CT for $85.
Frank Lucchesi of Lucchesi Vintage Instruments
has just reset the neck on it,and I've been lucky
enough to find a pickguard on ebay with the correct
Harmonylogo. (Although the original pickguard was
probably black on this guitar instead of the tortoise shell
that I have on it now.) Does anyone know why pickguards
were taken off and thrown away? It seems like 75% of the
archtops I come across, both electric and acoustic,
are missing their pickguards!
