Harriet and a group of Moldovan Women from Light of the World church, have hosted a time of encouragement and fellowship for the women of Uzbek, Cacaus, and other CA nationalities who come to Moldova to study at the College of Theology and Education.  This is a great cultural experience for all of us.
This fellowship time has been a great encouragement to us since it started in  Dec. 2002.  The women desired to meet again this school year November 2003-present.  The husbands of some of these women  and two of the single women are Sam's students.  So far this year there have been 5 meetings with the women.  The group has grown and we now meet at the college.  Last month, Mar. 3, 2004, Harriet had the privilege of sharing a lesson on Conflict Resolution with the women.  I did this in a facilitation mode where they were in groups and presented parts of the material as a learning exercise.  The women seemed to gain much insight and even asked for the materials to pass on to others.
Central Asian Wives Tea
This was our first meeting of the year--Nov, 2003,Julie Ormanji, the Moldovan pastor's wife (at end on right front) did the beautiful table.
These Uzbek sisters shared several songs with us in their native tongue.  What a great experience for us to witness the Love of Christ in these women raised in a Central Asian culture.
