Sam and Harriet Caldwell both met the Lord in college under Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC)…Sam in 1970, and Harriet in 1969. We were trained though CCC and developed our hearts for missions during this time. In Sam's 20 years of Army Service we saw how God was preparing us to be missionaries. We traveled and moved around the world, we met different cultures, and we developed relationships that have lasted to this day.
In 1989, we began attending Fellowship Bible Church in Colorado Springs, CO, and over the course of eight years served in Kindergarten, 5th and 6th Grades and adult education. Sam led two men's Bible studies and was a member of the Missions Committee. Harriet was involved in the Women's Ministry, helped plan retreats, and attended two Bible studies. We were also part of a church plant in Deckers, Colorado.
We were married in 1971. We have a son, Samuel (31) and wife Amy and their daughter, Brianna Christine (2 1/2), their son will be born in May, 2007.
Our daughter Bethany (29) and husband Riley Brunson, have two sons, Ryan (11), and Nathanael (6 1/2) and a daughter, Emelyn Grace (3 1/2)
