Sasha and Luda Belev have birthed a new church last year through the cell group model.  Sasha has a team of young leaders that he encourages and works with.
in Sept, 2007, Sasha became an ordained pastor under the Baptist Union of Moldova.
He is a gifted evangelist and teacher.  Luda compliments his gifts with hospitality and work with young couples.  Filip, their son,  is now  8 and Alesa is almost 4.
Facilitation Team serves Moldova’s Heart & Light

Jeff, Robin, and Paulina Owens joined us in Moldova in Oct, 2003, from Tennessee.  Pray for them returning to the field for their 5th year.   Praise for how our God provided a place for them to live this year through our partnerships with the Southern Baptist Missionaries.
We, along with World Team, believe in teams.  Just as the early missionaries traveled and worked together, we also want to do this.  We are also seeing the need for multiplicational home groups which will lead to new churches.  Relationships are key here.
1 Cor. 1:10b says, " Let there be real  harmony so there won't be divisions in the church. I plead with you to be of one mind, united in thought and purpose."  As we model this harmony we pray to see more churches planted throughout this region.
The Alliance for Saturation Church Planting seeks to train national workers to be Church Planter Trainers for the various Unions and churches.  Therefore it is the aim of partner churches in America and our desire to have a National Team as well.  In  November, 2003, we began forming that team with two Moldovan families.  Our time with the Belevs and Ribcas has produced two young men with wisdom, discernment and undertanding of the Saturation CP model which they have adapted to fit their culture.

Igor and Tanya have spiritually matured and developed good relationships not only in their village, but in other villages throughout Moldova.  Igor works with a group of church planters in villages where there is no evangelical presence.
He is modeling the cell group approach to church planting as well.  They have only one daughter, Marina, who is almost 9.
They live in a house in a village with no running water or toilet inside.
