The JOY of Seeing GOD at work in  Moldova’s Heart &Light --It's people and churches
As our focus has become more clear, we are seeing our broad work reach to many partners throughout Moldova as well as networking to other countries.  We have met with our national team for four months and have had some opportunities to facilitate short term teams coming to Moldova from our partnerships with churches in America.  We will do this again in May and June.  Our network continues to expand and our knowledge of various ministries throughout Moldova is broadening.  We give glory to God for His intervention in these connections.
Vacilly, Alla, and son are one example of a God connection.  They are one of the reasons that we are in Moldova.  They served in Ufa with a new church plant and then returned to one of the missions-- minded churches in Moldova where we also work with the Central Asian families.
The Pavlovski Family are part of the very broad focus work that we do. Victor is  one of the Pentecostol Bishops for all of Moldova and he has ties to many other European contacts.  He is also the landlord of our apartment and helps us with visa issues.  His service and encouragement to us have been a great help.   The Pentecostals are releasing church planters, using new models of regional training and attempting to plant some new indigenous churches.
This is Valeri Gheletski, Baptist Bishop, with his family.   He  has been a leader in the European Baptist Union as well as working intensely in beginning a Moldovan Mission Organizational Board.  He has also served  on the Moldovan Governmental Parliment.  Because of visionary  leaders like this, our service is more intentional and directed by the nationals and the needs of the Moldovan people.
Stas and Aia are Moldovan church planters who also connect with one of our Alliance partners--Global Mission Fellowship.  He is the national contact for some of the short term trainers who come to Moldova.  Aia is from one of the Central Asian Republics.
As new missions open in Moldova we help to facilitate their needs in setting up their homes, offices, and information.  This connection was to put Tanya from CEF with the Rotaru family for help with her car, office set-up, and relationship building.  The Rotarus (husband not pictured) are church planters in Bocioi near Chisinau.
The Verbitskys are one of many families from Moldova who are serving as missionaries in other regions of the former CIS.  They are planting a church in a republic that is very closed to the Gospel.  PRAY For them and another son who works in Central Asia.
