Feb' so far.
Well Feb has started quite slowly due to our snowfall and general bad weather.
Piper's typical weight right now is 2lb 4.5oz,We are working her with the ferrets more often now,due to John's patience with them they have become great "bolters"..

So far this month we have only been out 6 times and even then it's not been for long.

Bunny tally so far this month = 8, 2 free flying,6 with the ferrets.

Piper is getting better and better at following on and reacting to my whistle so i'm pleased at our progress,She is also great at "hometime" e.g, sits on top of the car or in a nearby tree while i change my boots and put my things in the boot of the car, then when i get her box out she flies over and into it.(although the piece of steak that is always waiting for her may have something to do with it)

i was hoping to get out with her today but the weather has decided we are going nowhere, maybe tomorrow. Feb has been a really dissapointing month for us with the outbreak of foot and mouth, We had 4 or 5 more days out and caught a total of 22 rabbits .Piper also got a couple of minor injuries(infected toe and a slight cut on her foot.)just before Piper went down to molt we caught our 1st pheasant so she had a great start to her moult food wise. I HAVENT KEPT UP WITH THE JOURNAL DUE TO FOOT AND MOUTH,I WILL CARRY ON WITH MY JOURNAL AS AND WHEN  I HAVE ANYTHING TO REPORT.

(pictures this month will be here as soon as geocities decides to play nice)
