| * Points * First years should note that the majority of the points are earned for doing homework. There are many other ways to get points such as joining clubs/getting active in the school, and many other things. * Monthly Updates * We are converting to monthly updates at HPT this year. In the past we updated once a week but since Year 9 is covering the muggle school year we've decided to make it easier on staff and students and give them more time to do their HPT work around their muggle responsibilities. * Around The School * There are many areas of HPT to be explored. These areas are divided into sections at the Entrance Hall. You can get to know your teachers through their offices or contact them at the Owlery. Your classes are also available and you need to attend those to remain a student at HPT. Talk with other students at the Great Hall message board OR meet students in your own house in your house common room. There are also multiple secrets around HPT that may earn you a nice sum of points...happy exploring :) * House Cup Championship * As you all know, there are 4 houses here at HPT. You were all sorted into one of them and throughout the term you have a chance to earn pts for your house. A number of ways to do so are listed above under "Points". Pts are taken away from your house for any rule breaking or a lack of hmwk. At the end of the year, the House Cup will be given to the house with the most pts. There is a board of pts in the Great Hall so you can all keep track of where you are in the running. Last year HUFFLEPUFF won the house cup. |
