Okay, I'm sorta making this up right now, but it has a basis! Lol, my soap opera... But well it's funny, because on the show (ATWT), ther are characters named Lily and Rose who are sisters, and of course in HP there are sisters who also have the names of flowers, Lily and Petunia. Okay, but anyway on the show, Lily's son is in danger of being killed by his Maltese uncle, Dante (who is the half-brother of Lily's ex-husband). Now of course, none of this is making sense. But think of James as Lily's husband, and Voldemort as Dante. Obviously, there would be a relation to Voldemort and Harry. Now, we know Voldie liked to just plain kill a lot, but maybe he specifically wanted Harry dead because both were heirs to Slytherin. If Voldemort wanted to be the true heir, he could have no competition. Um, yeah, it's odd, but it might make more sense if you've seen As the World Turns and taken time to parallel it to the HP books.
We all know Mr. Weasley's name is Arthur, right? And we all know that Lucius Malfoy and Arthur Weasley are sort of on different sides of the spectrum...Well, apparently in the story of King Arthur, King Arthur dies fighting a war against a Roman ruler named...Lucius.
I found this on a message board, but it's really fascinating...James is the heir of Gryffindor, so Harry is too. Voldy is the unknown father of Lily; that's why he didn' t wanted to kill her.Lily is adopted, and Petunia isn't. That' s why she doesn't have magic powers. The reason why Harry can speak with snakes is because he is the heir of Slytherin. And he got the sword because he is the heir of Gryffindor. Remember where Harry's parents died? It was in Godric's Hollow.
There will be a female DADA teacher. Er, Ms. Rowling said it herself, so I'm guessing...
Fleur might be the DADA teacher. Well she was in her last year in book 4, and she did wanna improve her English, but...
Another rumour is that Mrs. Figg might be the new DADA teacher...
Now this is a bit odd, but one of the rumours I heard was that Snape was a vampire. Odd yes, of course the dungeon he teaches Potions in probably wouldn't have too much light...
Book 5 will be shorter than Book 4. Good and bad...at least I'll be able to hold it.
Percy might turn evil, becoming the next Crouch.
We might hear about Ron and Hermione's birthdays in future books (March 1st and September 19th, no?) Well, I do wanna find out what Harry gets them...
Someone will be able to do magic very late in life, which is very rare. Although no one knows who, there are rumors of it being Petunia Dursley. QUITE interesting.
The book title may be Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix I'd said "If it's at all like book 4, that most likely will NOT be the title, but nevertheless play a key role." However, I believe this has been confirmed.
We will learn something of Lily Potter's background. I'm betting on it, but I have no idea what we could possibly learn.
We will learn why some wizards/witches come back as ghosts while others do not. This is about definite too. All I can say is I'm curious...
The fact that Harry has his mother's eyes will be important. He has green eyes...as in jealousy...but somehow I don't think Lily was jealous of Petunia!
There may be an interesting connection to Harry and Godric Gryffindor (other than the fact that his parents resided in Godric's Hollow). One interesting fact that was brought up was that Harry's birthday is July 31st, making him a Leo. We do realize that July 31st is also J.K. Rowling's birthday, but we think the Leo connection is pretty interesting.
Sorting Hat will play a big role in upcoming books.
Pettigrew's debt to Harry (for saving his life) might totally screw up Voldemort's plans.
Book Six might be called Harry Potter and the Green Flame Torch I don't know who started saying that might be the title of a book, but I will almost guarantee that's not going to be a Harry Potter book. Of course, nothing is for sure...
Thanks to MuggleNet for these latest rumours for Book Five:
The "Horrible to Write" Death of Book 5
• J.K. Rowling said that one of Harry's "fans" would die AND, during Harry Potter Hour on the Rosie O'Donnell show Rosie asked Richard Harris (Dumbledore) if he was signed up for all seven movies and he said yes, when she asked Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid) he replied, "sort of". That leads me to believe that Hagrid might get the axe in book five.
• What about Colin Creevey? I'm sure when JKR said that it would be one of Harry's "fans" the name that popped in to most of your heads is Colin Creevy. However, Harry never had a very close relationship to Colin; he was never a major character and if he died it would be like Cedric, nothing more.
• Ginny is also a fan of Harry's and definitely would be a horrible death to write, but other then that there aren't really any supporting facts that Ginny might die.
The Heir of Godric Gryffindor
Harry could be the heir of Godric Gryffindor. Here's why this is possible:
• When Harry finally finds the right wand for him at Ollivander's, the wand emits red and gold sparks - Gryffindor colors!
• We know that Harry's parents lived at Godric's Hollow. Godric who? Godric Gryffindor of course!
• Near the end of book 2, when Harry pulls the sword out of the sorting hat, it had the words "Godric Gryffindor" engraved on the handle. Later on, Dumbledore says to Harry, "Only a true Gryffindor could have done that."
• Harry's birthday is July 31st, which falls under astrological sign of Leo the Lion. The Lion is the Gryffindor house mascot.
New World
Harry will visit Azkaban. J.K. Rowling said that Harry would visit all new places in book 5. Could one of those places be Azkaban? Or perhaps the Ministry of Magic?
Lily Potter - Crookshanks?
Voldemort had no intention to kill Lily Potter, right? Maybe their is something we don't know about the two (maybe they are related, maybe Lily was a death eater, who knows?). We also know that Lily has Green eyes (like Harry), and reddish-ginger hair - JUST like Crookshanks does! I think Lily is an animagus, and either Voldemort let her change, or she did it to run away, it all makes sense. I mean, J.K. could've picked any look for crookshanks, but it was green eyes and ginger hair. Isn't that an interesting coincidence?
To further back this up supposedly something huge will be revealed about Lily Potter AND Crookshanks will appear in the next book(s).
Hagrid's Journey
Hagrid and Madame Maxime go on a mission to convert the giants from the mountains to be on Dumbledore's side before Voldemort does. The giants will play a pivotal role in book 5.
Snape's Mission
At the end of book four Dumbledore said some mighty suspicious things to Snape. From the looks of things Snape might go back to Voldemort as a spy for Dumbledore. The question we need to ask is, would Voldemort fall for that? No, he's too smart. He would torture Snape and kill him. So what IS Snape doing?
The 'glint of triumph' in Dumbledore's eyes
In the first book, Hagrid told Harry he didn't think Voldemort had enough human left in him to die. In the fourth book, Voldemort needed human blood to bring him back to life. At the end of book 4, after Harry explained what Wormtail and Voldemort did to him, Dumbledore had a 'look of triumph' in his eyes, could this possibly be because Voldemort was enough of a human now to die?
