Had an interesting day today, made a official statement concerning the accident, it seems that the offender will be charged with about seven offences! It is nice to see the justice system working smoothly (though a little slowly, leigh still being without a car). Played World of Warcraft for the first time, I created a Human Warrior on Ryan's account and had some fun (made it to almost level 7 in under two hours, and entered only two or three areas!). The game looks awesome, some huge . . . I WANT IT NOW . . . however I need a job first . . . but then I will have less time to play . . . the dillemma!

Had a very sad day today, it was my Aunty Karen's funeral today. She was taken rather young, and is survived by her husband Mark and their three beautiful daughters, Jenna, Brook and Melissa. I shall miss my aunty very much.

Not too much to talk about today, I have been asked to be a pall bearer at my Aunt's funeral. It is a great honour to be asked, I am doublely glad as I am not much good a sitting still especially during these things, having a part in the funeral will help a lot.

The "Bear Cave" housewarming was last night and there was much fun had by all. The set up was the best I have ever seen at a party, two rooms of different music, DJ's (all friends) mixing trance tracks and probably about 100 people in attendance. A special thanks to Jane and Zane for making the night for me. For those of you who didn't make it you certainly missed out!

*Tap* *Tap* Er is this thing on . . . *WEEEEEEEEEE* woops I guess so. Welcome to my brand new blog/website named 'hartror'. From here I am going to set down what is happening in my mundain day to day existance. Sometimes it is not so mundain such as last sunday . .

Twas the (BDO) Big Day Out, for those of you not from Australia the BDO is a rock festival held every year. After much music, sweating and more time in the sun than my skin really perfers it was time to go home. Little Leigh, Zane, Jane and of course myself piled into Leigh's Mazda 626 with me in the driver's seat. As usual after an event of this magnitude (the BDO that is) the roads leading out of the show grounds were packed and it took a good hour of crawling before any real progress was made. However once out among the traffic all was well, a short pitstop for petrol and a pee and we headed for the freeway.

The little 626 purred along the freeway to the sounds of A Perfect Circle while Zane slipped into a tired contented sleep. I drove happyly along, the quiet freeway and the lilting sounds of Maynard on lead vocals making it an easy drive. Then the was a bang, loud and sudden, and the car started spinning in a clockwise direction. I have only brief flashes of the next few seconds. First, sparks flying from the right hand rear of the car, second, the on coming traffic (fortunetally some way back) their headlights shiningg in my eyes and lastly a R33 Skyline doing a massive burnout along the shoulder.

The spin finished on the shoulder out of the traffic, and we stumbled from the car somewhat shaken, some brusing and muscle ache the worst of the injuries. What happened was, as we were driving along a long right hand turn in the middle lane, the Skyline travelling well over the speed limit had failed to turn hard enough. He drifted into our lane and clipped us on the rear righthand side. This sent us into the clockwise spin, the Skyline then slid across our lane and hit another car in the left lane. It then drove off, showering sparks leaving the havoc behind.

The little 626 is written off, a broken axel and some serious body damage meaning it will never drive again :( The moral of this story: Never let stupid people drive high power cars.
