Engine :  Built March 2002 by Matt Clark, Roger Clark Motorsport.
Mapping : Bob Rawle , BR Developments.
Drivetrain, Brakes, General and use of facilities :John Pye Motorsport.
New Engine and Development Project started late May 2003 with 2.2 CDB sleeved to 2 litres.
Projected output.  Reliable 600bhp intended for everyday use.  Engine collected from RCMS
Thursday 20th January 2005.  39,000 mile STi 5 gearbox obtained from crashed Jap car, unregistered in the UK.  Viscuous centre diff  has been replaced with a fully mappable DCCD with its own ECU.  More fun and games with the laptop to explore suitable settings.  This gearbox awaits an uprated front LSD before fitment to the STi when engine installation can begin.
This car is in daily use and about to undergo final development work with the Matt Clark re-built CDB. 2 litre engine, bigger injectors, bigger turbo (from Canada) and Motec M800 Engine Management from Bob Rawle.  It has already been clocked at Bruntingthorpe at 186 mph which just a few years ago would have been unbelievable for a 2 litre daily driver with full air con, stereo etc.
