I am looking for Farnsworth because my Grandmother's Maiden name was Ida Belle Farnsworth. Ida Belle was the Daughter of Alonzo Lafayette Farnsworth and Ida Henrietta Tietjen. She was born 25th of September 1880 in Tuba City, Yavapai County, Arizona, USA. You can see a picture of: Ida Belle Farnsworth

T h e    F a m i l y    o f    I d a    B e l l e    F a r n s w o r t h Ida Belle Farnsworth married George Albert Turley on 16th of February 1899. (See My Turley Page for Info on George Albert) They had two little girls. One of which was Thelma Edna Turley, born 26 May 1908. The other was Ida May Turley, born 18 February 1900.

She died on 16th of September 1977 in Farmington, San Juan County, New Mexico. She was in a nursing home in Farmington, at the time. We used to visit her there when I was little.

When Ida was expecting Thelma, her husband George was working at a sawmill. The boiler blew up and killed George. This was 26th of February 1908. Later, 2 September 1910, Ida married a man named John Howard Kartchner. I never knew him, but my older sister says she knew him as Grandpa Howard.

Check out my Kartchner page for info on Howard, Ida, and their kids... Howard and Ida had four boys. I knew Leith and Milo. I always considered my Uncle Milo my favorite. Probably cause I knew him the best and his is so very wonderful. On my Kartchner page there is pictures of Howard, Ida, and their boys. Also, on my cousins page, there is a picture of Leatha, she is the daughter of Leith, and a really great lady....

I have found much more info on my Farnsworth family and will put it all on here for you as soon as time permits..... so stay tuned!!!
