Welcome to my webpage. My registered name is Marion Michael Morrison, but the name I go by is Duke. I was named after John Wayne. My daddy Sammy thought that name up! He's so funny.
I am the oldest of the three of us Bostons and MUCH bigger than Suzy and Trooper. I came from Copan, Oklahoma, where my doggie mom lives with her family. They were really nice people and made sure me and all my brothers and sisters got good homes. I bet I got the best one though! I love it here. I have lots of people and brothers and sisters to play with! At first I was all by myself with that mean ole Sandy lady dog and BOY! She never did want to play. But then Suzy and Trooper came to live here and it's been a party ever since. Now I torment Sandy by getting in her face all the time.
I have floppy ears and people used to always rub them try to "stimulate" them to stand up. I don't know what "stimulate" means either but it sure felt weird when they rubbed my ears like that. I guess they got tired off that game because they don't bother with it too much these days. I wonder why Suzy and Troopers ears stand up but not mine. We found out I need to get the cropped for them to stand up. mom and dad said Nooooooo. I am glad! After all, they add to my sparkling personality!
The white stripe on my head reminds Mary of a lightening bolt. No wonder Sandy doesn't like me! Also, Trooper is mean to me alot. He doesn't like for me to play with my toys. I guess since he is the youngest he is a very jealous boy. Fortunately, he has short, stubby legs while mine are long and lean, so I just outrun him if he gets carried away. Sometimes I get him to fight with me so that he gets in trouble with Dad, but don't tell anybody! |
