| FOR LOVE.... For Love.... I'd scale the highest mountain I'd swim the deepest sea I'd walk on burning coals I'd climb the tallest tree For Love.... I'd give my life to save them I'd cut off my right arm I'd face a pack of angry wolves I'd protect them from all harm For Love.... In the fiery pits of hell I'd face the devil himself I'd knock this evil beast Right of his self-righteous shelf For Love.... I'd starve myself to death To make sure they were fed I would do all that I could do To wipe away the tears they shed Who do I love this much you ask? Who could have this worth? Lachen, Liberty and Storm, my children The three that I gave birth. |
| REST IN PEACE Many tears were shed the day That accident took your life Leaving in this world, your family Four young children and your wife They buried you on a cold wet day Placing you in the ground When they lowered you casket into the earth Not one person made a sound We stood around with tear stained faces With your memory running through our head Not wanting to forget a thing about you Not quite believing you were dead You are now with God, my cousin dear But your memory will never cease We will never forget you Kenny, God bless you and rest in peace. |
| MOTHER Mother's are the greatest creatures God put upon this earth Only a Mother is able To give a child birth Though it is not easy To bring her child up right Her caring loving ways Somehow gets her through the fight Every day of her life She teaches them right from wrong Rest is due this special woman For she has worked far too long |
| THE DAY MY LIFE CHANGED As the wind softly whispers Across the crisp autumn leaves I walk alone quietly Through this forest of trees Thinking of the sunshine And the happy day The day my life changed forever The day you came my way You brought hapiness and love Forever into my life I've never been so happy As the day you made me your wife |
| MISTAKES Mistakes are made every day By many people along the way It started out with Adam and Eve The Garden of Eden, they had to leave I've made many mistakes in my life I know sometimes they caused you strife I pray every day with all my heart That you will see, I will make a new start Someday I will restore your faith in me I'll somehow become what you want me to be |
| The Riches Of My World Have you ever dreamed of being rich? Of having diamonds and pearls To adorn your fingers and kneck? Have you ever dreamed Of having fur coats to keep you warm? Of driving a Merceded Bends Or a Lincold Town Car? Have you ever dreamed of Having money to spend On anything your heart desires? To buy a famous painting Just because you could? Who doesn't dream of being rich? Of having everything They ever wanted. I have everything That I could ever want It may not be money and jewels Or all the "riches" of the world But I have the best riches That anyone could want My family, my friends A roof over my head Food on my table And clothes on my back And my most precious jewels That I have Are my three wonderful children Who are happy and healthy What more can anyone ask for? |

| MAY I HAVE THIS DANCE? I LOOKED ACROSS THE SMOKE FILLED ROOM MY EYES LOCKED WITH THE SEXIEST PAIR OF EYES MY HEART STARTED TO FLUTTER LIKE A SWARM OF MONARCHE BUTTERFLIES HIS SMILE SHINED LIKE A NEWLY FORMED PEARL AMOUNG THE OYSTERS ON THE OCEAN FLOOR MY LIPS TREMBLED AS HE SAUNTERED MY WAY CHILLS RAN THROUGH ME, STRAIGHT TO THE CORE MY HEART STOPPED AND SKIPPED A BEAT WITH THE VERY FIRST WORD HE SAID "MAY I HAVE THIS DANCE?", HE ASKED AS TO THE DANCE FLOOR, ME HE LED I FELT AS I WERE DANCING ON AIR AS WE FLOOTED ACROSS THE ROOM THE FIRST OF MANY STEPS THAT POLINATED OUR LOVE FOR BLOOM |

| A GIRL NAMED LACHEN There once was a girl named Lachen Who love to eat nothing but bacon She ate it for breakfast, she ate it for lunch All she could do was munch, munch, munch Her mother would say, "You'll get as big as a pig" Lachen replied, "How so, I am as thin as a twig." Then one day, she awoke with a start She decided to wake up and get smart It was a dream that had brought her to this conclusion A dream to real to be just an illusion In this dream she was big and stout But worst of all she had grown a snout So now, Miss Lachen eats nothing but greens She decided she'd rather look like string beens |

| ONCE A HEART Once a heart of gold As pure as drifted snow Now a heart of stone That has lost its golden glow Once a heart full of love Full of dreams to be born Now a heart so lost So old, tattered and torn Once a heart of joy Full of dreams of hope Now a heart of pain That don't know how to cope Once a heart full of life More than all the rest Now this heart is dead A cold lump in my chest |
| A Special Angel When we were all still spirits Awaiting to be given birth Awaiting for God to grant us Our special place on Earth He came to us to tell Of a glorious gift to me and you A gift of a special angel To guide us through all we do To laugh with us when we are happy To comfort us when we are sad To dry the tears we shed To calm us when we are mad To guide us through the bad times To share the accomplishments we make To take care of us in illness To help correct, when we make a mistake We all had the same question One we needed to ask What should we call this angel? Who will take on such a task? He gave a simple answer With a voice so calm This special angel You will all call Mom. |
| Mother Of The Year When I was just a little girl, around the age of two or three I remember her taking gentle care, when I got a boo boo on my knee Though she sometimes got angry, when I took a childish fit She may have scolded me then, but loving me she didn’t quit A few years went by, then I was seven or eight I was such a handful, but she somehow kept me straight Teaching me right from wrong, was sometimes quite a task No matter what a challenge I was, her love for me she could not mask Along came the toughest part, those terrible teenage years But she was always there for me, to wipe away my adolescent tears With all the rebellion that I showed, I don’t know how she made it through Through all the trials and tribulations, she did it, as only a mother can do Now I am a grown woman, with children of my own But still she is there for me, her love as bright as ever known She is my anchor strong, No matter when or where No matter what time, day or night, you can bet she will always be there I can never repay her, for all the things she did All the time she spent molding, that spoiled rotten kid My mother is the greatest, no other could come near I would like to nominate her, mother of the year! I LOVE YOU MOM!! |
| A BEAUTIFUL DAY A beautiful day outside The sun shining bright A red-breasted robin Taking its first flight Children at play On a backyard swing Enjoying the sunshine Of this day in spring An elderly man Strolls on past One of God's creatures Nibbling fresh green grass A fluttering butterfly A humming bee Are only a few Of the things that I see Wat a beautiful day To be out taking in the sun To enjoy your family And simply having fun |
| A Brand New Start I lay awake throughout the night His image running through my head My eyes all red and swollen From the million tears that I've shed Crying for the love I lost The love that went away I pray that he'll comb back to me In my arms forever to stay I gave him all I had to give All the love I had to share He didn't seem to notice How much I really care He says he'll never forget And will always be my friend But I know in my heart That someday that too will end Now I am left with remnants Of a shattered heart My only other choice Is to make a brand new start |
