The Shrine to the Greatest Men in Anime

One of the first things I noticed when I first got into anime and manga was that there was at least one character from each series that I wanted to marry. The uninitiated may at this point think I'm crazy and leave, but any other girl or woman who watches a lot of anime knows what I mean. I thought it was time I told these guys what I felt, so here is a shrine to what I think are the greatest guys in anime. If anyone disagrees, you can tell me, but there's no guarantee I'll change the shrine, or add or delete someone. These are my favorites.
1).Tamahome
Don't act so surprised! After just four episodes I fell in love with the poster boy of Fushigi Yuugi. Who wouldn't? In his own words, "I'm handsome, strong, kind, and marvelous."
He pretends to be a jerk so that Miaka (the female lead) won't know his feelings, but he's really a kind, devoted, rightous, deeply compassionate man, as well as being protective and strong.--and really handsome!

Yeah, you know you're popular.

Um, now on to the next guy...

2). Trunks

Trunks is probably the most popular character in Dragon Ball Z. Could it be the hair? The shoes? The outfit? The sword? Or the personality... Coming from a future in which everything he has ever cherished has been destroyed by the evil androids #17 and #18, Trunks is a troubled teen. Yet he still has the goodness of heart to stand up for his friends and defend what is right. Though he has been through a lot, he still treats others warmly and with respect. In short, Trunks is smart, kind, brave, pure, and devoted. And I don't think he's got a girlfriend... what a waste.

3). Vegita

Trunks' dad gets third place. Just look at him--sekushi janai ka! He's also got an attitude and just enough of that "dangerous" feeling. He's got loads of pride, and is "pure evil," and therefore a whole lot deeper and more interesting than his arch-rival Gokuu, who's pure of heart. But deep down inside, even though he tries not to admit it, he actually cares about his wife, Bluma, and his kids, Trunks and Bra. Veggie, if you ever get tired of Bluma, you know where to go. ^v^
