Haya Koren: Contralto singer and vocal music teacher. Haya, born in Romania, came to Israel with her parents at the age of 3 month and grew up in Ramat-Gan. At age 18 she joined Kibutz Yehiam with a "Nahal" group. At present she is a member of Kibutz Nir-David. Haya graduated from the Music College of Tel-Aviv and the Music Institute "Oranim", and further studies in the "Bach-Academy" of Stuttgart. For more than 30 years she was member and soloist of the Kibutz Artzi Choir. Has recorded several singing programs in Idish, Ladino, Spanish and Hebrew for Israel Broadcast. At present she performes with the "Barroque Plus" women quartet.
