"You Can Overcome Your Conflict In Life"

 Throughout the story James, Ruth and the family faced many conflict that they had to overcome. Like Ruth's conflict with her race and religion, being Jewish made her life harder. Like when she was graduating her father forbid her to go because it was held in a Protestant church, it was be cause of her religion. Her conflict was her religion but at the she over came it. James had some conflict about his life. Like when his stepfather died, he started to do bad in school, so he went to stay with his sister. There he met a guy who help him to get back on track. James conflict was his stepfather death, but at the end he over came the problem.
