I woke up at like 6am after falling asleep at 3:30am. I swear I could not cleep caz I just had a feeling that I was going to meet *N Sync. It was weird. I fell asleep with picture albums from other times I met them, hugging the albums like teddy bears. (I know, I'm a dork!!) But, I didn't know how to meet them yet. So, the next day I went to my dad's office and did a few odd jobs.
Then, after lunch, my dad called me back into his office, where I saw Michelle (his seceratary), writing "Justin on Post-Its. I just thought it was sorta weird caz ya know, even though shes 25, she doesn't like N SYNC. She hung up the phone after saying thank you to the person on the other line. I looked over at trhe Post-Its and saw "Justin 4pm flight 123, Dallas A.Air...Lance 2:11 Dallas, AAirlines. Hilton Hwn" OMG! I was like, "Would Lance and Justin be from N SYNC?"And Michelle is like, "No they are from some group called the Backstreet Boys, have you heard of them?" I grabbed her in a hug bear hug, probably almost squeezing her to death. We decided to just go to the hotel, since Justin was going
straghit into his limo from the plane, on the field, and Lance probably would too.
So we hit the hotel, and ende up hanging around ther fro about 3 hours, and counted 20 fans (w/o us) 15 of which qualified as official teeny boppers. Even though I am only 14, I don't consider my self a teeny. I admit that i went throught tat stage, but I'm not there anymore. I have never run aftetr them, bothered them or directly followed them. DIRECTLY? You ask? yeah, we have followed them, kinda. We'd just go to the same place a different way, ya know? N E wayz The hotel is really nice, so It was no problem just hanging there.
So anyways, we musta missed thier arrival, because the security person said that they had come in a different enterance. So we went into the front of the tower wher famous people always saty (Mike Jackson, 98*, Janet Jackson etc.). About 1 hour later 3 of my 7 friends with me at the time had to leave. After they left secruity tried to kick us out but we immediatly got a room, so we could stay. The people who were left were: Jenna, me Alika and my sister. Evem more fans cam and N SYNC was still invisible. But then again, if there were a million people outside MY hotel room I would wanna stay insode too! :) We had gotton to the hotel at around 2:15, and now it was about 7 and we were chilling, when we saw Lance, his parents and both sets of grandparentswalking out the side door. Under rule #3, we couldn't run or make it look like we saw Lance, caz no one else saw him. Alika and I had met N SYNC before, the last 2 times they had been in Hawaii. But Jenna hadn't so we went up to Lance and very politely asked for his autograph. He couldn't stopa walking (U know how that goes), so we walked with him while Jenna got his autograph. We gave him the whll W2H-EYS speech(Welcome to Hawaii, Enjoy Your Stay). He was going to dinner, so we left him alone and craeted rule #5 for Jenna (No saying OH MY GOD more than 20 times in 5 minutes. At least she didn't make it obvious that we had just seen Lance).
10 minutes later who walks out the front door? Miss Danielle Fishel herself(Topanga!) Since she and Lance are no longer together, we assumed she was going out or somehing. But when she said that she was going to dinner,we realized that they were probably going to dinner together. No biggie though caz she has a new boyfriend and he was with her at the time.
Danielle was super nice and she hinted to us the Justin w=might be coming around the back soon, because they whole “NSYNC FAMILY” was eating dinner together at the Japanese Steakhouse.

They were laughing, and he slapped her a high five, I guess to say like, “GOOD JOB! U HAVE FANS WHO LOVE YOU!” or something to that effect. I dunno. It didn’t look like they were dating though. I don’t wanna start any rumors. We walked around the building they were walking around, and met them at the steak house. They of course didn’t know that; but its ok.
When we finally got to the back enterance, we saw about 10 lil fans standing around the windows, trying to atch N SYNC eat! Exciting, huh? We didn’t feel right doing that, so we turned around and decided to go on a Chris and JC hunt, since they were the only ones that hadn’t arrived yet. Half an hour or a little longer went by, and we saw a limo pull up. Jenna, Alika and I were the only one left (my lil sis had gone to get our stuff so we could stay at the hotel). So it was three fans and two NSYNC-ers and thier gfs. But NOOOO still some security person had to be all like, “Girls stay bac” We were like, “yeah we’re staying back”. But that didn’t stop us from talking to the two of them. JC wasn’t very talkative. We just sorta exchanged “His” and “Welcome to Hawaiis” and whatever. But Chris was cool. He actually had a convo with us!

As soon as he was outof earshot we were like “OMG we talked to Chris!! We made him laugh!!” It was pretty cool. We had no clue what to do, caz we weren’t gonna see anyone. But then Alika’s like, “Well, what if they go shopping?” We (Jenna and I) doubted they would, but we were just like, “Ok, whatever, lets go.” Lemme explain something about Alika and N SYNC. She has the sixth sense, I swear. It’ll come up more in this story. But she is definitly someone you wanna take along when N SYNC hunting! So we just went into the stores around the resturant they were in, and who walks into one a little after us? Miss Spears herself! We said hi, but we didn’t wanna bother her while she was shopping. We walked outta the store and saw a bunch of people crowded around the ABC store. We went over to see what the commotion was all about. Well wouldn’t ya know it! Justin and Joey were in there. Joey bought something, but I couldn’t see what it was. Justin didn’t buy anything. I tried to take a pic, while w walked past, but since I was walking, it came out a blurry.
For the rest of the night, we tried to look for them around thier tower door, but @ around 11pm we called it anight due to the fact that they were sleeping (thanx to jet-lag).

Jenna, Alika and I woke up at 6am, caz we got a wake-up call. We were down in the lobby by 6:15. I dunno how we showerd do fast, we just did. The first person we saw was BLUNT from Xtreme Radio @ 104.3. He was interviewing fans, but since we were the only ones there so far so he was just kinda sitting there. He was also trying to get a member of N SYNC on the phone to do a radio interview, but of course none of them were awake yet! *LoL* We were just crusin' around looking for anyone related to N SYNC. Heather kept calling me to keep me updated on what BLUNT and the othehr DJ's were saying on the radio about N SYNC. Apparently anyone who could get one of the members on the phone would score Backstage Passes!:) But we couldn't get through to the station, so we gave up. Alika suggested that we go around the back of the building. Her being all N SYNC-y, we agreed.
The second we turned the corner, a door opened. And guess who came out that door??? Lance!! He was followed by his family: Mom, Dad, and both sets of grandprents. If THAT wasn't enough, JC and Bobbi walked out right behind them! Bobbi was a few feet in front of JC, and JC was walking with his dad. I walked up tp Lance and asked for an autograph. I'm sure Jenna and Alika did too, but I was kinda not paying attention to them. SORRI! So I walk up to Lance and asked if I could have his autograph.
LB: Yeah, sure- here walk with me
ME: Wow! I feel loved! {I almost hit a palm tree...nice, Maria!}
LB: {laughs} So do I
ME: Can U sign my bag?
LB: Sure! {takes it from me}
ME: Are you enjoying Hawaii?
LB: Yes! Its beautiful! I widh we could stay longer! {hands the bag back to me}

Then we stopped (we= Jenna me and Alika) and waited for JC to catch up to us.

ALIKA: Mine too?

WE were happy now that we had talked to JC and Lance. So we woke up my sister and got breakfast. While we were eating, we watched Joey get mobbed by about 25 girls. He was really nice and took pix with all of them. When we finished breakfast, we did a few laps around the hotel. When we got to the lobby, we stopped caz there was Danielle! (Chirs's g/f). He handed her a valet ticket, and then turned and asked us what he could do for us. We got his auograph and a pic of him that didn't come out very well. About 1 hour later, Heather, her sister and Cindy arrived. There was 7 of us total. We walked over to the beach, and we saw this white guy w/ a brown 'fro running around, and then he stopped in front of a girl w/ a pink bikinni.
It took us a lil while to realize that it was Justin, but we finally figured it out and realized that the girl in the pink bathing suit was Topanga. By now it was aroun 1pm. Alika took a bunch of pix with my camera. Then Justin went back to where he was sitting woth Jenny from Innosense, her boyfriend and Lance and his sister...I think. Britney was there too. We took a couple mor pix and then we saw a couple of girls who looked farmiliar. When we walked closer, we discovered that it was Mandy and Nikki from Innosense! We approched them and asked for pix and autographs.
Then we sat with them on the beach for a long time and talked to them. We were mostly talking to NIkki. We talked about her being on MMC, her religious beliefs, living in Hawaii, how to become famous, N SYNC, Britney and things like that. She was really sweet and answerd all our questions and we answerd all hers. Jenny joined in our convo and after awhile we started teasing her about how she said y'all all the time. Caz in Hawaii we don't say y'all. So she teased us about saying yo. From them on whenever we saw her around the hotel, we'd yell out "Hey y'all!" and she'd go, "hey yoz!". It was funni. The whole time we had been talking to the girls, who were really adorable. They called everyone baby! SwEeT! N E wayz, the whole time I had been in touch with my "brother" Jason. He's in a local Hawaiian group called DisGuyz. (CHECK THEM OUT HERE) DisGuyz is pretty popular here, and I'm close with the guyz. So, he had been calling me and stuff, asking what was going on. I fianlly convinced him to just come down to the hotel.
Inosense left to go to the pool, so we went to get something to drink.
When we got to the pool bar thing, we saw Billy and Ruben; part of N SYNC's band. We were talking to them - they are SUPA nice!! And Jason came down. It was arounf 2:45pm, now. Jason brought a couple people with him: Whitebread (a DJ from 93.1), Ian (a groupmate) and Stacey, Ian's friend. Jason, being a guy saw Innnosense and wanted a pic w/ them. He an Ian got thier pic w/ Nikki and Mandy and then the 2 guys decided that they were hungary. *sigh....guyz....*So the 10 of us (Jenna had left) went to this lil outdoor cafe type thing on the beach, called Tropics. They only had tables for 4. So of course Jason and his gang sat in the chairs and we all sat in the wall. Ian and Jason were recognized and tok pix with a few girls. We ordered food. Or, JASON orderd food and the 6 of us girls ate his nachos and he bought us a large coke. Jason was on a mission to somehow get DisGuyz signed onto a record label, so he wanted to find Lance. Instead we found Lynn, sitting w/ her husband and Tim and the girls of Innosense. Jason gave a DisGuyz CD to Innosense and Lynn, and then we left. We found Danielle Fishel!! Jason wanted a pic of him and her of course, so he took one! It was soo cute! Hes like 6 feet, and shes like 5'2"! Ian and Stacey left, and were replaced with another one of Jason's groupmates, Justin and HIS friend Wendy. Then Sean came (ANOTHER DJ). We weren't wanted there, so we left.

I didn't get any pix, because I just thought it would be kinda teeny-bopperish if I like "stalked" the families too. So, then Jason guys came back and told us that they have to go, but *NSYNC and everyone with them was going to have a private party at an 18 and over club called World Cafe. He said that he would try to see if he could get me in. and he'd call me that night.

I had to go to my friend's friend's BBQ at around 8:oopm that night. When I got there, my phone was totally dead, so I plugged it in to charge. About 15 minutes later, my dad paged me w/ a 911, so I called him back ASAP.
Dad: Congratulations!
Me: Huh?
Dad: Congratulations!
Me: On what?
Dad: I can't tell you, but I will say that you need to be at my office at 10:30, showered with nice clothes and a camera
Me: Why?
Dad: Can't tell you, gotta go, bye!
And he hung up. So I went home, showered and picked up Alika from her house. We still didn't know what we were doing, but we went down to my dad's office like he had told us too. When we got there, we begged him to tell us where we were going, and finally he told us that we were going to the V.I.P. room of World Cafe. Since we were under 18, we coucldn't leave the VIP room (shucks, we were trapped in a room w/ *NSYNC...what's a girl to do??). Jason had arranged the whole thing for Alika and I. (Thanks babe!!!)

We arrived at the club, and I was shaking so hard that my teeth were chattering. Keep in mind that not only wa this my first time "clubbing", but it would be a first time experiance WITH *NSYNC there, which just made it that much better. As soon as we got there, we noticed this huge line of like 700 people (ok, maybe like 300, but still, it was lots of poeple!!) and a bunch of them were giving us "looks" like what are you little 14 year olds doing here? And Alika pointed out that a few of them had cameras, and some pix of NSYNC. We found this humorous. OK, moving on, Cal and Junior, two of Jason's bandmates were there already, waiting for us. Alika and I talked to Cal for a long time about gossip...mostly about BSB. Around 11:00, three limos pulled up and we realized that Ian, Cal, Justin and Junior were with us, but Jason wasn't. When we asked where Jason was, Cal explained that he was in the limo w/ NSYNC!!! Thethree limos pulled over at the back door of the club and Lonnie stepped out of the biggest one. I don't think that many people noticed, but I know that the girl behind us did, because as soon as Lonnie turned to look at the line, she went "It's the bunny rabbit security guard!" *LoL*. Riiight, then Chris, Dani, JC and Bobbie/Bobbee jumped out and went in the back door. "OK, let's go in" Cal said. We followed him to the line, and into the fromt door, which was really fun, since we got to skip the whole line and waltz right in. Junior immediatly took the protective older brother role, and grabbed my hand, telling me to grab onto Alika, so we wouldn't get lost. SO we had this little train of about 7 people, and we made our way across the florr and up the stairs. Now, I have to explain, I have "rules" on how to act around NSYNC so that 1) We don't bother them (too much..hehe) and 2) We don't lok like Teenies. BUT we do look like teenies, since we are that. And because we are that age, the second we aproached the VIP room, we were stopped by NSYNC's bodyguards. He made it very clear that there would be NO PICTURES or autographs in the club at Any Time (I think Jason took some anyways tho).
Dad: Congratulations!
Me: Huh?
Dad: Congratulations!
Me: On what?
Dad: I can't tell you, but I will say that you need to be at my office at 10:30, showered with nice clothes and a camera
Me: Why?
Dad: Can't tell you, gotta go, bye!
And he hung up. So I went home, showered and picked up Alika from her house. We still didn't know what we were doing, but we went down to my dad's office like he had told us too. When we got there, we begged him to tell us where we were going, and finally he told us that we were going to the V.I.P. room of World Cafe. Since we were under 18, we coucldn't leave the VIP room (shucks, we were trapped in a room w/ *NSYNC...what's a girl to do??). Jason had arranged the whole thing for Alika and I. (Thanks babe!!!)
