Welcome to the In-Box of haysinterviews@hotmail.com, the official e-mail address of the Hays Games Co.  Since we were founded in April 1998, we have received some fairly interesting messages from you, the consumer.  This section is devoted to sharing some of those such e-mails, as well as our responses to those messages.

From: Vahn Stryker
Subject: This Is Just A Warning To You
We've contacted yahoo! and told them of your little theft that has been going on and they've told me to contact the people you stole from. If at least one person says you need to take it down, yahoo! is going to delete your stuff from their servers.
Just letting you know where things stand ^_^
have a nice day

Our Response:

Hey, sounds good to us.

I bet 20 bucks that the "Doorways Programming Team" is 2 guys who copy
source code from other programs.  I also think your public "releations"
(direct quote) office website is really. I'll put in your terms. gay.
Our Response:
Ok, ok, so where should we send the $20 to then?

From: (KSA) Tekken
Subject: RE: To the moron who submitted the letter to the editor in the newsletter
btw, everyone, if this person try's to make a crappy program or game
giving me the credit it don't believe it, I'm currently not making any
games or programs and am not going to make a "surprise" release of
anything so don't believe anything unless I say it here.  Hay's is trying
to destroy me and it will never succeed...
(KSA)Tekken
Our Response:
We aren't trying to destroy you.  Can't we all just get along?

From: Kirk Meyer
Subject: tetrisgold.zip
Please adjust your readme file. We will not allow derogatory comments of
others to appear in our readme files, nor programmers who claim that
their game is "better" than someone else's, specifically.
Our Response:
Uh, sure thing, Kirk.  Are you sure that the readme file is the only thing wrong with that program though?  And by the way, great job with your recent release of Grand Car Stealer 83!

From: Kirk Meyer
Subject: tetrisgold.zip
I despise people who hack other people's games and release them as their
own. Your file has been removed from our archives. Additionally, you
have jeopardized your PRIVILEGE (not right) of having any of your other
games posted on our site. I should have suspected that this was a copy
when you included completely false condescending statements in your
readme file, but I always try to put the best construction on things...
that gets me into trouble a lot.
Our Response:
Way to go, inspector Kirk.

From: Sam Heald
Subject: Game Theft
What the hell is the matter with you? Are you on drugs or
something? You CAN NOT simply alter another person's source code then
re-release the program without permission. Your releases of Tetris
Gold and Duckhunt are exactly that. As you know, Tetris Gold (as you
have decided to rename from "Ztetris") was made by Jimmy Mardell then
later ported by Ahmed and myself. Duckhunt was made by Andrew Uvg.
These programs will be removed from ticalc.org shortly as will any
other programs you attempt to upload that are not genuinely yours.
       Sam
Our Response:
Uh... we take the fifth.

From: Sam Heald
Subject: RE: Game Theft
ha, ha, ha! I'm hysterical. Please observe that Tetris Gold is no
longer available on ticalc.org. Thank you, this has been an unkind
news announcement brought to you by the Fuck You network.

*END TRANSMISSION*
Our Response:
We bow before your superior bastardry.

From: Vahn Stryker
Subject:
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Your site keeps gettin funnier, every single time I see it!
Okay, listen up, idiots. I'm part of TI-World and as far as I know, there is no trial and there never will be. We didn't steal your "copyrighted" TIworld or whatever you wanna call it. It's not copyrighted because copyrights cost money and a person who has to use a GEOCITIES page couldn't possibly afford it. Oh, and if you try and "sue" us, we'll counter sue...wait, counter sue only implies a lawsuit in the first place...we'll sue YOU for slander, malicious intent, and a bunch more things and have YOU on the proverbial street. So, take this CRAP down before you make me really mad, got it?
have a nice day

Our Response:

Look at me, I'm shaking in my little space boots.
