Artwork Submission Guidelines
Yeah, yeah, technical gobbeldegook...

Okay, the rules here are very simple.

1.  Subject matter
It has to be a picture of a cartoon character. It has to either relate to a Dialogue/story/other writing or have an acceptible subtitle explaining why it belongs in the Alley. Simple, no? And if you draw Hazel, she does not have to look like my version of her. I am fully aware that characters based on literature often look very different to one person than to another. For drawing her, I have only one standing rule: she is a white fox. If you want to give her black-tipped ears or paws or something, that's fine. But the majority of her fur must remain white and she must be a fox. Otherwise, play with the design all you like. I'd be very interested to see how different people imagine her!!

2. Medium
I'll accept drawings, scans, screen grabs, doctored screen grabs, clip art, and just about any other imaginable type of visible work. But it has to be E-Mailed to me (MPoet1st@aol.com) in either a .jpg or .gif file, or I won't be responsible for the results!

3. The Barter Economy
It's a wonderful thing, no? This really isn't a rule, it's shameless self-promotion. I'll trade comissioned work for whatever you have to barter with as long as it isn't money. Yes, I know this sounds bizarre, but I can't put monetary values on my artwork. Trading stuff for stuff always seemed a lot more useful to me. So, I'll accept videos, CDs, passports, one-way plane tickets for Scotland, jewelry, canned soup, or just about any other imaginable thing that catched my interest. So talk to me! Whadda ya got? Whadda ya want? The one small condition is that I can't use fancy Paintshop things to make computer-colored pictures. I'll do hand-colored or black-and-white sketches. Anything else is pretty much beyond my ability.
