Hazel Lemon Millennium Project

This project, self-funded by the artist, will consist of three panels each three feet wide and five feet high forming a triptych. The panels represent the three major churches of Wymondham and their congregations. The triptych is in the tradition of medieval church art and features portraits of almost two hundred local men, women and children as well as babies and dogs that attend the churches. When the triptych is finally completed it will be available for display in all local churches. The artist prepared working drawings in the local churches of people over a period of ten weeks last summer and is presenting these portraits to the actual sitters.

The triptych and working drawings will be exhibited together for one evening only at Central Hall, Wymondham, Saturday 2 June 2001. The artist will present the portrait drawings at this exhibition.
