I've been here about a month and a half, but it seems like a lot longer for some reason. The weather was weird for a couple weeks cuz it was in the 70s. That's right, it's not a typo, i said the 70s in September in Alaska. Crazy, I kno. It was warmer here than in Detroit and Maryland. But now, it's been in the 20s for a while. There's no wind, so it doesn't seem that cold. It's snowed a couple times, but nothing has been sticking. I saw the mountains for the first time in the middle of September, and I saw the Northern Lights a few days after I saw the mountains. I've been able to see the mountains a lot since then, and I've seen the Northern Lights about 3 other times. They're so awsome.
Since I've been here, I haven't done too much. Gone to a couple movies, found the love of my life (no lie), done more PT than I ever thought I would, ran more than I ever thought I could, and have really bonded wit my roommate. I was lucky to get a roommate that I get along wit so well.
I haven't talked to my mom that much since I've been here, thank God. But she was e-mailing me at least 5 times a day for a while, until I told her it was too much. There's so much she doesn't kno about me, but that's nothing new.
I guess that's all for now. Don't think that jus cuz I'm not in the city that I'm gonna change into a small town girl... not gonna happen. I'll always be a city girl.
