| Sire: Aust Ch Tamsala Shenandoa Shade Dam: Aust Ch Damyat Dark Isle Jay was our first pedigree Basenji from Elizabeth Jackson of Debrak Basenji's. Jay is 11yrs old and has truly gained her place in our household. Affectionately known as 'Granny' she has been fundamental in our breeding program. Her first litter to Ch Myola African Beau had much success in the show ring. All 4 dogs shown became Australian Champions (Ch Hazhart Africa Sanai, Ch Hazhart Africa Nile, Ch Hazhart Africa Savannah and Ch Hazhart Africa Kibra). We went on to use Sanai as a dam and she produced many quality dogs including Ch Hazhart Sudanca Mirage, Ch Hazhart Sudanca Vision and Ch Hazhart Quicksilva. Although Jay was never much of a show dog, she is happy to sit in many of our successful dogs pedigrees as a mother, grand monther and now even a great grandmother. And she is very happy to be sitting on her couch watching over the youngsters and claiming all puppies as her own. |
