Though everyone has many friends,what he/she really needs are true friends,It's very
important to have friends that are true,as an old saying goes, "Friend is a second self." But a true friend is hard to meet with though
friends are easy to have,Everyone can be a friend,but not everyone can be a true friend.If you want to have a true friend,you must first be a true friend to others yourself.It is the least thing you should do.You must not be selfish.You must be truly interested in others.
When one of your friends needs help, you should try your best,no matter how little you can do.Don't forsake a friend in adversity, But stand by him/her.:) Then what you do to others,others will do the same to you.But there are friends who may not be true to you even if you are true to them.So it is wise to associate yourself with those who have outstanding virtues and who are sincere, honest,and faithful.For a man who is possessed of these good qualities can't be false to his/her friend.You should avoid a friend who often flatters you and never criticizes your fault.For he/she is not sincere or he/she may have entertained a motive to win your favor.Then when you can't benefit him/her,he/she ABANDON your friendship.On the contrary,you should attach yourself to a friend who points out your fault and
remonstrates with you ,and who appreciates your merite if you are really good.For he/she is really a true friend.:>
