Bracelet #25
Instructions:
  • rating:
  • Made with 5 different colors.
  • All threads should be 70" in length.
  • Arranged:1L, 2L, 3L, 4L, 5L, 5R, 4R, 3R, 2R, 1R.
  • 1 - light pink, 2 - pink, 3 - purple, 4 - navy blue, 5 - light blue
  • Threads should be prepared in the usual way folded in half.

Threads will change positions in this pattern but I will not be using the new position names. The reason for this is that the pattern continues over different rows and it seems a lot easier to use the original position names throughout the bracelet.

As always, work cautiously so that any mistakes can be caught in time to be corrected.

This pattern is best done with an uneven number of threads. Eg.5,7,9. I haven't tried one with 3 threads so I'm not sure how that will work but I made one with 9 threads and it turned out beautifully. 9-thread and 7-thread patterns.

Keep this in mind if you would like to increase the size of your bracelet. Once you have completed this one you would have gotten the principles involved, so making a larger one shouldn't be too difficult. Good Luck!

1. Starting at in the middle, using 5L and 5R make 1 fk (forward knot). Then, using the same 2 threads, make 3 bk, 1 bk/fk on the left, and 3 fk, 1 fk/bk on the right.
2. With 4L and 4R (threads now in the middle), make 1 fk. Then 1 fk, 1 fk/bk on the right and on the left, 1 bk and 1 bk/fk.
3. Make 1 fk with 3L and 3R. (threads now in the middle)
4. Continuing from where you left off in Step 2: With 4L, make 1 fk; with 4R, make 1 bk; then 1 fk to join both sides.
5. Continuing from where you left off in Step 1: With 5L and 5R, make 1 fk and 1 fk/bk on the left. On the right, make 1 bk and 1 bk/fk.
6. With 1L (outer thread on the left), make 1 fk/bk. With 1R (outer thread on the right) make 1 bk/fk.
7. Continuing from where you left off in Step 5: Make 2 bk on the left, and 2 fk on the right.
8. Continuing from where you left off in Step 4: Make 3 bk and 1 bk/fk on the left. Make 3 fk and 1 fk/bk on the right.
9. Continue pattern from Step #2.
