| W e l c o m e Welcome to the year 2006! Come into Hogwarts for refuge and escape from the world you know to a wondrous world where magic exists for those who believe and let your imagination take flight as you learn of the mysteries here. Become a Professor to teach your magical craft, or be a student to learn the art of magic. If you wish a truly original experience, you could become a ghost, or perhaps a talking painting, seeing all and using the knowledge of what you see as it pleases you. If this is your first visit to this site, let me not waste your time. The new term starts on June 10th so you'd better join quick. If you want to be a student, click on the Sorting Hat link in the left-side menu. If you want to play an adult, click on the Job Openings link. Before joining the site however, read the Rules and if you have any questions, check out the FAQ section. On the other hand, if you are already a student, head over to your Houses. Then to earn some points, you can begin your Classes. But role-playing should mainly take place on the Hogwarts Message Board, where you'll find the Great Hall, Quidditch Field and other such forums. Then there are the Other Places, like Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade which are definitely worth the visit. So have fun everybody and check back for updates because they're HIGHLY important. |
| U p d a t e s 07/17/2002 - 6:24 PM Okay, lots of changes are taking place because the RPG has been drooping slightly. We've created a new forum called Polls and we've started a few topics there on which we need your opinion. not on the topics, on the suggestions and policies inside the topic. Head over there right now or suffer the combined wrath of all the Student Advisors. *evil look* As most of you should know by now, professor Mylana has resigned. Its not her fault... blame the stupid schools because she's had to quit because of her SATs coming up. We understand and we hope you do too. Remember the time I quit because of the overload of studies? Stupid schools! They should so be banned. But, professor Mylana on the RPG hasn't gone away yet. I mean she has but the story is that she's gone to Russia where Colloqoy supposedly is to look for Silverlance. *grins* We're really persecuting him aren't we? Well anyways, so in the RPG, she's left the school to the House Heads and OOC, she's left it to the SAs. That is why we need your help to implement some of the new policies. So, like I said head over to the polls. ¤ ------------ ¤ 07/6/2002 - 5:21 PM And we WON! *cheers and throws confetti and balloons about* You know, the Dobby's Honor Awards! Well, they just finished Round One and we won second place for the best message-board based RPG!! And we got a plaque! *scurries around looking for it and then lunges it all the way to the page* There you are! I uploaded it and its right at the end of this page. See? *points vigorously below all the updates* Looky! And THANK YOU for making us so good *strews flowers in everyone's way* ^_^ Also, for school announcements, there aren't many. We've got a new professor, Sara Jax who will be teaching Ancient Healing. That's the last acceptance for a made-up class so everybody who wants to apply to be a professor will have to stick to the remaining book subjects now. Sorry about that. >_< ALSO, the Social Events Committee is planning a ball and we'll keep you updated on that. The school newspaper, the Hogwarts Inky Quill should be up in two weeks or so. We still have two positions open, so scurry over right now and apply or else, suffer the wrath of the editor, ME! On a sad note, the Razue RP, A Doomed Hogwarts has been discontinued. And we have decided that RPs which are so crucial to the school should be more everybody-based. And it should have some amount of planning and a basic idea as to where its going which this RP did not have. BUT, the reunion is still going on in the library so scoot over there right now! *sheepish grin* Heh heh... I need to go post there too. AND, most classes have started so please scoot over there too. Lots of scooting but we need to get this RPG back on its feet because someone said that its been slacking lately. *sniffs* ¤ ------------ ¤ 06/10/2002 - 9:12 PM And the new term has started!! There's a feast going on in the Great Hall so everybody go join in! Also, voting for the Gryffindor House Head has ended and it was an unanimous decision, Professor Millicent Gricks has been chosen. ^_^ Unfortunately, Professor Scott Heart has had to leave, so now the Animagus class has been discontinued. On the other hand, we've got the best news we ever had for a long time. Isabelle Traphid has recovered... she's now out of the coma and she's perfectly alright. She had got temporary amnesia but the doctor said its going to be fine in a week or so. She's remembered her mom, dad, Adair, her house and me (I'm touched *sniff*), but she still has a long way to go. And I'm sure she heard our prayers and decided to get better again. *does a jiggle and then runs off to stuff herself with food* ¤ ------------ ¤ 06/04/2002 - 9:30 PM Okay, I know a lot of you might not know, so let me just get it out here. Isabelle Traphid was in a car accident with her mother and now, she is in a coma. Her mother is fine now, only very shaken up, but Isabelle has still not come out of the coma. The doctor says she has a 50-50 chance of surviving, but hey! Who trusts doctors anyways? Just... I don't know if prayers will help her any, but it doesn't hurt. But if you don't believe in God, that's fine. Just please remember her once each day. I know this sounds dumb but I don't even have any idea what I can do to help her and that sucks. I don't know if every small bit helps... but it won't hurt to try. ¤ ------------ ¤ 06/04/2002 - 4:04 PM Ooooooh... there are three new additions to Hogwarts. Two are professors and one is a most lovable ghost, who's probably going to become the Hufflepuff House Ghost soon... so that's good news for the Hufflepuffs. Talking of Hufflepuffs, all of you better go post on the redecorated board, especially Patrick, Brigid and Griffin. Oh but back to the new additions. We've got a new Elemental Magic professor, Sai Misani and a new Numerology professor, Agnes Black whose brother incidentally is Hickety Swampy Bumpy, the nice ghost who might just take over the duties of Parrell the poltergeist. Three cheers for all of them! Also, we still need to get a fast URL for the site. *nods* Yup! Need to get onto that. ¤ ------------ ¤ 05/29/2002 - 6:09 PM Well the modified old page... now the new page is up. I really didn't have to do much since Kayleena so nicely agreed to do the banner and button again. Here are all the announcements for now. The new term shall start on the 10th of June so professors, please post in the Staff Room confirming your positions as well as sketching out your lesson plan for at least two classes you plan to take once the new semester begins. Students, there are a lot of things for you to do. One is attend the imaginary after fifty years reunion ongoing in the Main Library. Secondly, please contribute in the board layout discussion going on in the Great Hall. I mean its Hogwarts everybody's way you know ^_^.
