| THE STORY The story begins with a parade in honor of the Sultan's Birthday where his daughters, the princesses, give him gifts. Wealthy princes arrive on the scene to persuade the Sultan to let them marry his daughters. The princesses resist this idea, and the Grand Vizier advises them to go on a journey and think it over. Meanwhile, Aladdin and his mother are living in poverty. Aladdin desperately wants to become rich, and jumps at the chance when an evil magician tells him about a cave full of treasures. First he discovers a Magic Lamp that grants him three wishes. Then, he overhears that Ali Baba and his band of thieves are planning to kidnap the princesses. He uses his three wishes to save the princesses instead of getting rich. However, upon returning to the cave he discovers the Genie of the Ring who grants him as many wishes as he wants, as long as they are used for good purposes. The Sultan discovers that his daughters have been kidnapped and Evil Magic is once again being practiced. He vows to defeat Ali Baba and the power-hungry Evil Magician in a battle to end all battles! With the help of Aladdin and his Genie of the Ring, Ali Baba and his thieves are defeated and the Evil Magician is stripped of his powers and banished from the kingdom. Aladdin and his Mother, with a little help from the Genie of the Ring, become rich and live happily ever after. THE END |
