Unexpected Cycnia Moth Caterpillar (Cycnia inopinatus)

This is an uncommon species usually associated with glades, barrens or barrens remnants. It was found on Whorled Milkweed. The adult moth, which is very similar to the Delicate Cycnia Moth(Cycnia tenera), has yet to be found
