Hendricks County Indiana
The Hendricks County Heritage Alliance is an affiliate member of Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana. HCHA is a non-profit, organization, comprised of people from around the county who are interested in preserving our architectural heritage.
The goal of HCHA is to develop an appreciation of the architectural and natural features that contribute to the unique character of our county. In order to maintain the integrity of the county, Hendricks County Heritage Alliance will seek to encourage individual and community efforts at preservation and restoration; improve the quality of our local environment; develop an understanding of our heritage; educate about the importance of specific cultural and natural resources in our area and in all ways help preserve the past for the future.
HCHA serves in an advisory capacity and as a clearing house of information between the general public and the preservation societies, and helps with National registry projects.
Members will receive a quarterly newsletter containing news of upcoming meetings and events, as well as articles on local historic structures and more.
HCHA will periodically offer seminars and have speakers on various subjects relating to architectural preservation and restoration. Input and ideas from members for other programs are always welcomed.
Hendricks County Heritage Alliance is open to anyone with an interest in historical preservation. To become a member of the HCHA simply complete and return the form below. If you have any questions please contact David Kroll at 317-745-9991 or Juanita Harrington at 745-5391
