This will be Mr. J's 12th year with the Hart County High band program. He attended Eastern Kentucky University (EKU). Since his arrival in 1988, he has helped the band to grow from a AA band that was exicted to attend State Prelims, to a AAA band that expects to make it to Semi-Finals, and maybe even Finals this year. His creativity and leadership has helped this program more than any previos director could.
2000 will be Mrs. Carolyn Johnson's 12th year also. She attended EKU. She came to Hart County High School in 1988, and has helped the woodwind section very much, and has been great help to the band durring her time spent here.
This will be Mr. Boyd Rexroat's third year at Hart County High. He attended Cambellsville College, and since his arrival, has helped the drumline more than anyone else in previous years.
This will be Mrs. Kim Egland's 14th year with the Hart County High School band program. She has been great in helping our color guard to become the best in the state in class AAA.
This was Mr. Phil Jonhsons third year as athe Hart Co. Trumpetline instructer, and this was his final year as the instructer. He is a senior at EKU this year. He isn't quite sure on what he wants to do just yet. He may join the Marine Corps. to join the band, or he may do some traveling and do some gigs, or he might even do what he said he wanted to do, be a music teacher. Good luck Phil, we love ya man! |
