| In August of 1997, thirty-seven (37) young men entered Lesesne Gates to begin their knob years at El Cid. Little did they know that by May of 1998, only fourteen (14) of them would survive knob year. Subsequently, Hotel Co. c/o 2001, would experience the highest attrition rate in the history of the school. The trials, tribulations, adversity, fear, bloodshed, sweat, and pain would forever forge a friendship to stand the test of time. They came as strangers, but left as brothers. They would go on to win Honor Company, The President's Cup, The Summerall Cup, The Commodant's Cup, The Intramural Championship, and The Kelly Cup. They were the last of the Old Corps and embody everything the school stands for.
