               "PRIMARY CARE GIVER" VERSUS "CUSTODY"

Most if not all custody agreements are "joint custody".  For simplicity this        book will refer to the "primary care giver" as having "custody". It will refer     to  the "non primary care giver" as "non custodial".

                                          LEGAL STUFF

People depicted in this book are fictitious. Any resemblance to any person      now living or dead is entirely coincidental. Divorce and child custody laws    vary greatly from state to state. This book should not be used as a substitute   for legal counsel. Anyone who intends to act as their own legal representative   in a divorce has a fool for a client. That includes lawyers who want to         represent themselves.

                                        INTRODUCTION

This is a book dedicated to the purpose of assisting the emotionally traumatized individual, in moving through divorce or in severing emotionally traumatic relationships, through good decision making. It is also dedicated to exposing the horrific gender bias traditionally shown by the United States court system against men in domestic relations matters.

Marriage is not a RELIGIOUS institution as so many believe. It is a social contract traditionally defined by the courts with the undeniable result of raping the man's pocket book. More money will change hands in domestic relations cases each year than in all other lawsuits combined.

The contents should not be considered as legal advice in any manner. Divorce laws vary greatly from state to state. The reader is warned that acting as their own lawyer is a clear and undeniable mistake. Instead, the reader should use this treatise as a guide to understanding the numerous pitfall's of child custody, cohabitation, marriage and divorce. Hopefully the end result will be to warn the unwary and prevent some unnecessary relationship and financial problems.

The book is written in a logical format of problem, example and solution. Many of the issues addressed are not applicable to every divorce or state because of factual situations and varying state laws. However, most make for some interesting reading to say the least. The chapters are grouped for the most part by issue but each chapter is self sustaining. So you can read this book in any order you desire without loss of meaning.

This book may be found offensive by some women, judges, feminists and lawyers to say the least. I feel more than free to say what I want as an  author. Having experienced the wrath of vicious people and lawyers and other such on more occasions than I wish to state it is best to be free of such harassment during conversation. Yes, i am hiding behind the cover of this book..

Let there be no mistake that the import of this book is to convince the reader that marriage is a legal matter and that religion has no place in a courtroom. It should also become clear that no man with any money, education or ambition for such should marry (or cohabitate in a common law marriage state) without managing the legal implications of such a contractual relationship. Same goes for a woman of similar ambition.

For the women readers a chapter entitled "WHEN WOMEN SHOULD WORRY" reveals the pitfalls for women when coming up against a truly gender neutral court system. With increasing frequency women face severe obstacles in the court system much the same as men. Yet the current trend is for men to lose and women to prevail. If however the woman is the loser in a domestic legal battle the implications are far more severe both emotionally and financially. Women readers should read this chapter first and then proceed on to the rest of the book. If you are a very beautiful woman you may want to peruse the chapter entitled "BEAUTIFUL DOLL SYNDROME" before reviewing the remainder.

Use the book as a means to guide your thinking and decision making process rather than to answer your legal questions. The reading of this treatise should make you ask more questions of yourself and your legal advisor. Do not let it answer any of your serious legal issues as the laws of the states vary so greatly that one little book could not touch on any one single issue.

The book has been intentionally written at a 9th grade reading level. Actually, it took many hours and countless revisions to simplify the legalese to the point that the reading level was to the 9th grade. The intent of such a writing style is to accommodate the reader who is expected to be under an extraordinary stress level if involved in a dissolving relationship, custody fight or divorce. It is well established that stress will significantly diminish the attention span and reduce one's reading comprehension. Please appreciate the effort that went into making this an easy to read book.

If you are reading this for entertainment, having already endured domestic turmoil, go straight to the last chapter and read it carefully, then go to the beginning.

NORTON GHOST ERROR MESSAGES 1406 AND E1AD3212 REGISTRY FIX.

If you are here you have probably pulled out half of your hair trying to install ghost on your computer. The problem is not that you have failed to log on as administrator but a permission in the registry. I strongly suggest you create a system restore point each time you perform any of the following tasks. All tasks are simple. Directions can be found easily by doing a WWW search.

1. Perform a system restore point.

2. Run
error checking of the hard disk.

3. Set another system restore point.

4. Run
system file checker from the run function:

start, run and type in sfc /scannow then click ok.

Find a web page that explains system file checker if you can't figure it out. This program fixes more windows errors than anything I have ever seen.

5. Set another system restore point.

6. Run
defragmentation of the hard drive and restart and set a system restore point.

7. Remove Norton Ghost using the Norton removal tool that you have probably found by now but generally found at:

http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid
/2007080716285139?Open&src=hot&docid=2005033108162
039&nsf=tsgeninfo.nsf&view=docid&seg=hho&lg=en&ct=
us

8. Set another system restore point.

9. Now you can edit the registry to correct errors 1406 and  E1AD3212 caused when installing Norton Ghost 14.0 and 12.0.

This happens if you do not have sufficient privileges or if you are not logged into the Administrator account. By this time you know darn well you are logged in properly.

In the next steps you will edit the Windows registry. Back up the registry before you make any changes to it, because incorrect changes to the registry can result in permanent data loss or corrupted files. Alter only the specified registry key. If you do not understand, stop and find someone to help.  Computer geeks are everywhere and love to help the hapless knave such as yourself.  Please click on the URL provided below:

You must add "permissions" to two registry keys. Please follow the steps given below for that:

1 On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Run.
2 In the Open box, type the following and then press Enter:

regedit

3 In the Registry Editor, click the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE key to select it.

4 On the menu bar, click Edit > Permissions.

5 In the Permissions for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE dialog box, under Group or user names, click System.

6 Under Permissions, check: Allow, for both the Read and Full Control entries
(The boxes will probably both be checked already. Just uncheck and recheck, then apply and then OK.)

7 Click OK.

8 Double-click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, and then click the SOFTWARE key. Repeat steps 4 through 7.

9 Click the registry key that is mentioned in the error message
(usually a file labeled symantec). Repeat steps 4 through 7.

10 Close the Registry Editor.

11 Restart the computer.

Next, install Norton Ghost.

PRAY!
