Flash was a tri-colored pinto with blood lines tracing back to Colonel's Fiesty Fella, Colonel Austin, Sparlock and Spartacus. He had a puppy dog sweet disposition , fabulous conformation, beautiful curl, gorgeous color, and a presence about him that stood out above the crowd. . . . . So long, my dear friend.

Tex is a 15 hand bay Curly
that we purchased as a gelding for his
wonderful temperament and smooth gait. (He exhibits the Indian Shuffle .)
Tex was the first Curly we met in person. While he might not win any beauty contests as an extreme trait Curly with little mane and a paint brush tail, he won our hearts and confirmed this was the breed for us. We later found Tex had sired at least 3 daughters. We now own 2 of them, Vortex's Little Bay and Taffy's Easter Joy. As these girls have given us babies and Miss Bay's daughters have gone on to give us even more we now have 4 generations of Curlies from this wonderfully bred gentleman.
Sadly, we lost this fine friend to a battle with chronic lung disease in Sept 07.
