| Sire:*PA Sorrel Dam: *Vortex's Little Bay Suki is an exceptional mare that is perservering in spite of less than desireable beginnings. She began her life with us as an abused 15 month old filly that had been allowed to run with a stud and was in foal. She delivered a tiny little guy before her second birthday and began her protective duties as a mom. After weaning she was started in a traditional training program, then turned out for the summer to "grow up". While she was kind to me she was leary of most others which sent me searching for a new direction.. This experience changed my life as it led me to natural horsemanship, Parelli style. This has been a wonderful journey. Suki is 14.3 and a varnish roan appy Curly with her coloring tracing back to the Yellow Hornet. She has a soft shuffling overstep most likely traced to him. |
