UPDATE - - - 8th December 2004...

We no longer own our VN Aero (90HDT). It got SOLD a couple months ago (2004) However i have decided to keep the website up and running for a while longer, due to the reasons of so much intrests in these great cars!. Although i probably wont be doing too much maintanence of the site or updates, unless requested. SORRY!! Feel free to email me still with any questions or comments.

                      We Bought Another One ! ! ! ! !
Finally have some pics of our *latest* VN Aero. Although this one is a replica. Unlike our original red one. We just can't keep away from them!! This is just a v8 commodore with the awesome looking VN aero bodykit. Still looks great though.

       As most HDT's today are made to order, we were very unsure on what  
       power output our vn aero had, so earlier on this year we had it put on a Dyno
       at Gladstone Dyno and Performance Shop, it was recorded at 220kW. Nat
       also had a few runs down at Beneraby Raceway which done a 14.6 second
       down the quarter mile. Later on, weve had a G-Tech on the car, which also
       confirmed a 14.6 sec, and 0-100 in about 6-7secs.

             
                                                                                                                                                            
There were 25 VN Aero's made in the first series, and a aprox. 42 built in series 2, and continued shortly into the VP
  range of only about 10. Compared to the massive production of VN commodores  of over 206,000. (which included
  Executive, Berlina, Calais, S, SS, Formula's and police pack etc..  Makes the HDT Aero look very unique.
  Back in the days when they were brand new, you would expect to find a price tag of around $$40,000!

  Since most HDT's these days are made to order, it is very hard to say what they came out standard with, all i can
  do is give an aprox. on things. Although if you read the Feature article on HDT90 that will give you a better idea.
  The VN Aero is 5.0 litre V8 but you also had the option to have the 3.8 litre V6. In either Auto  or Manual 5 speed.
  All VN Aero's wheels came out with 16x7" HDT Starforms. And the Aprox. Power Output is around  200kW's.
