Welcome
No John Goodman fan site would be complete without
something even remotely associated to John himself. This is his page.
What is so special about John Goodman? He is a very normal guy.
He is someone you can relate to, and he is fat. Not that being fat is a
bad thing, it just makes him more normal, and it also proves that he
didn’t become an actor by how he looked, but how he…well…acted.
Which makes more sense, I think.
What You Need To Watch
John is famous for his
lazy, simple character that he normally plays and you need to watch The
Big Lebowski if you want to see this laziness in full force. The Big
Lebowski is a Coen brothers classic starring Goodman alongside Jeff
Bridges, another actor that has no trouble being lazy. It is a brilliant
movie and everyone should see it at least thirty-seven times before they
die, if not more. If you haven’t seen it, go out and rent it. If you
have seen it, go out and rent it. If you’re a poor person that can’t
afford it, steal it. If you’re a homeless person* without a TV, go
out, steal a TV, snatch up a VCR from Wal-Mart and de-box it in the
bathroom and hide it under your shirt so the security alarm won’t
ring, steal a guitar, learn how to play it, leave the case open while
you play it on a street corner in downtown until you bum a few bucks,
plug the TV and VCR into someone’s outdoor outlet, rent The Big
Lebowski, buy a decent shirt and watch the movie. Hopefully, you
will be able to see it no matter who you are.
*(By the way, homeless guy, how’d you get a computer
with the internet?)

John Goodman is awesome, that’s all I’ve got to
