Welcome,welcome, welcome!
We are actively seeking musicians to partcipate in the creation of original music. Southern New Jersey is a hot bed for musical talent and this site is designed to bring that talent together.

This page will be up and running on this interim basis until we can find a permanent home for Head First. Please feel free to drop us a line on our message boardif you have any qustions or concerns.

We will be posting resource page shortly that will contain names of venues as well as contact names to those venues to help area musicians expand their horizons.

Head First even has long-term plans to play out at some of these venues ourselves (upon recruitment and rehersal with able musicians), so check back for posted info, times, meetings, resources, and use our message board for any issues concerning you and your band. If you are interested in jamming out with Head First, or perhaps join the crew, please feel free to drop us a line at headfirstproject@yahoo.com.
MISSION:

Head First was originally created a few years back but has since been dissolved when its members began taking on other interests in the music industry. Now, former and current members of Blac Botum have created a forum for local musicians to come in seek of information and resources and possibly get some guidance or their questions answered.

We have also formed jam sessions for local musicans to meet up, share ideas, and explain technique and styles. Head First consists of a close knit crew exploring various realms of music for the simple purpose of enjoying the art. Everyone is welcome to come, watch, or join in during open jam where we all can respect each other. That means CHECK YOUR ATTITUDES AT THE DOOR!

We will be posting links to area musician's sites, bios and history of participating members and create several forums for musicians to exchange ideas. Please make use of these efforts in a mature and productive manner. Thank you- The Head First Music Project
