Reaching halfway 'round the globe, California Beverage Systems, Inc., a beverage company in northern California helps feed 25 malnourished children in the Philippines. Feeding was launched in February 20, 2003 and was supposed to last for 2 months but company officials decided to continue the project until all children becomes normal in weight.
After a successful project in Bgy. Corazon De Jesus, Calbev moved to another Bgy to start their Feeding assistance Part 2. This time Bgy Progreso and Rivera are the Project Sites. On hand to witness the Launching ceremonies were Vice Mayor Celles and Myrna Del Rosario, Calbev's representative. together with Barangay officials. Calbev was presented a project report by the Vice Mayor and a Certificate of Appreciation by Mayor JV Ejercito.
