  Congratulations!!  The birth of your baby is exciting and wonderful.  But, as anyone who's ever been a parent can tell you, parenting can be difficult at times, too.

The joy of a newborn often comes with sleepless nights, constant baby care, and the worry that you may not know what to do at times.  Your thoughts may turn to money worries, school, job, child care, housing and much, much more.

Many new parents say they feel frightened, overwhelmed and alone.

Healthy Families Bergen County offers education and support services to parents at the time of their baby's birth and has shown to significantly contribute to positive child-rearing practices as well as the prevention of childhood health problems. To learn more about this program and to see if it would be appropriate for you or someone you know, read more about us on the "Who We Are" page.
