Fundraising for Helping Healthy Hearts

So, you want to do a fundraiser for Helping Healthy Hearts. Here's what you have to do. First, please e-mail me with your idea. I'll tell you whether I think it can be done or not. All money sent to Helping Healthy Hearts will be forwarded to the Brian Littrell Healthy Heart Club for Kids. If there is anyone interested in putting together a fundraiser for Helping Healthy Hearts, please e-mail me and I'll talk to you about it in more detail.

Here are some fundraising ideas that I have put together. Other ideas are welcome!

• Donation cans in your school and neighborhood – you know you’ve seen them before. They are put in delis and such. They can be coffee cans or peanut butter jars – anything that can hold spare change. You must ask before you place them in a public place or a school. If you are interested in doing this, please e-mail me. The subject line should be “Spare Change Drive.”
• Bake sales – get your friends, school team, or student government together and hold a bake sale. Have people bake stuff for you or bake it yourself. Then sell it. If you would like to organize a bake sale, please e-mail me. The subject line should be “Bake Sale.”
• Organizing a walk – similar to other fundraising walks. You set a specific distance you want to walk and get people to sign up to walk. They have to get sponsors and such. If you are interested in this, please e-mail me. The subject line should be “Organizing a Walk.”
• Yard Work – just like it sounds. You go out and do yard work for people in your neighborhood. You can mow lawns, rake leaves, weed, shovel snow – it depends on your location and the time of the year. If you are interested in doing this, please e-mail me. The subject line should be “Yard Work.”
• Bottle Drive – this is very easy to do. You go out and collect bottles and cans from neighbors, your family, and loose from the side of the road. Then you cash them in and send us the money. If you want to do this, please e-mail me. The subject line should be “Bottle Drive.”
