Hi! My name is David. I grew
up in a very loving family. I am one of two sons. I’m the oldest. For as long as I can remember I was
overweight. Not too bad at first, but
that was back in Elementary School. I
really started packing the weight on around 6th grade and from then
on it just seemed to get worse from there.
I was going through a lot of personal issues and I used food as my
comfort! I was an emotional eater, that
is no doubt. As a matter of fact,
whenever my dad, mom, or anyone made a negative comment about my weight, my
first reaction was to go the refrigerator or freezer and find the most
fattening food there was an eat it in defiance! By the time I was in the 7th
grade I was wearing a size 36-38 inch waist pants, and my shirt size was
1XL/2XL. I was constantly teased and
harassed, as I am sure that many of the people who are or were overweight as kids
can sympathize. I made it through High
School and endured the constant ridicule!
I fell deeper and deeper into a hermit like state. I mean, don’t get my wrong, I always
appeared to be happy and outgoing, at least with my friends, but when I was
alone, that was when the tears would flow!
I would cry myself to sleep on many, many occasions. By the time I graduated High School and up
until about a year and a half ago, I was as big as you can see in the before
picture. I topped the scale at 340 lbs
and was wearing a size 50 waist and 4 XL shirts. The point in my life that made me decide to do something was one
night I will never forget. I went to
the movies with a couple of really good friends of mine. We found our seats and
we sat down. It was when I could barely
fit into the seat that I decided to do something. It was just awful. The sides of the chair were digging into my
sides and I was in pain the whole time.
I felt like everyone was just looking at me and laughing because they
just had to know the pain I was in because I was too fat for the seat!! I was
so embarrassed that I hid my face from my friends and the tears just rolled down
my cheeks. About 1 week later, my mom
got me a bottle of Metabolife. I
started taking it, and was amazed when I saw the inches and pounds start to
come off. After the first 30 lbs came
off, I joined a gym and started doing aerobic exercise. Then one day, I went to the Mission Valley
Shopping Mall and saw Joey. I don’t
know what it was, but something just told me to go over and talk with him. I had already lost about 50-60 lbs at this
time. I was really impressed with his
knowledge about fitness and his great physique! He recommended the Adipokintex
to me and recommended that I start to incorporate weight training in my program
along with the aerobic exercise. What a
difference!!! The inches just started falling off!! Now, I have lost a total of
130 lbs. I am wearing a size 34/36
waist pants, and L shirts! This was
something that I never thought I would have achieved! I had the desire and Joey gave me the tools and both of those
have brought me to where I am today! I
am a much healthier and happier person because of it! A day doesn’t go by that I don’t thank the “powers that be” for
bringing Joey across my life’s path! I
would like to say a few things about this man; He has gone out of his way to
help me. He took time out of his busy
schedule to write out a workout regiment for me and has always been more than
happy to answer any questions and has given me golden advice! Thanks ever so much Joey!! You’re a great
person and someone that I am very proud to call my friend! I have changed my eating habits to high
protein, low fat and low carbs and along with my workout routine and lifestyle
now, I am closer than ever to being where I want to be! Anyone can do this…it’s all up to you! So, if you need good advice or don’t know
where to start…Contact this great guy and he’ll help you get started! I’d like to close with a quote from Bob
Paris which I really love….”A task (goal) without a vision is drudgery. A vision without a task is but a dream. But a task with a vision is VICTORY!” I wish all of you the best of health and
success in reaching your goals!
Sincerely,
David French Jr.
