Heartbreak Fatty wav page:

What a memory trip it was when June (HBFatty's wife) sent me the link for
this site. And when she told me she had a CD of them, I jumped at the offer to
help put their music on line.
These guys were what I aspired to in my fledgling "band" days in
the sixties. Instead of dancing or chasing girls I would position myself near
the stage trying to learn the licks these guys played.
Back in "my day" the Legends and the Brakmen were big bands. You
didn't go to concerts or see the artists on MTV. We listened to these songs on
late night radio out of Oklahoma and Chicago at best, but if you wanted to hear
these tunes done live, you went to the canteen, or the old roller rink.
And if these guys were playing you were in for a show, and a good time. It is
where most of us first heard tunes like Louie Louie, Gloria, Johny B. Good
played in all their intended rock and roll fury. Not sanitized for AM radio three
minute cuts. These were sweat down your back house rockers.
It's good to hear these guys playing music together and I hope you have as
fond a memory of those simpler times that these tunes bring back to me.
They are in wave format and average about 500 meg. I will put some more files
up as soon as I can so check back. If you would like just some samples leave a
note in the guest book.
