PARSLEY

Parsley is a biennial grown as an annual, grows to a height of twelve inches. Rich, green, dense leaves form a rosette base. Parsley comes in two forms, ruffled and Italian. Both are easily grown as indoor plants. Plant in full sun or partial shade in a moist, rich soil. Presoak seeds between several hours and overnight in warm water to help speed up germination. Use fresh, dried or frozen leaves for garnishes, potatoes, soups, sauces, pasta, poultry, jellies, baths, shampoos, lotions. Snip as needed fresh. Hang-dry the flat variety; snip and freeze the curly variety.
