Your web site must contain information concerning the NASA program, human space exploration, human space flight, unmanned space flight. space history, etc. It does not have to pertain just to Americans in space. In fact, we encourage interaction between the countries!
Your web site must be for a general audience. Since the primary focus of the web ring is to encourage family interactions, projects etc. as well as promote the space program(s), we will not allow sites that contain both space information and adult material (duo purpose sites.) This web ring is only for "the real stuff". No science fiction. Only science fact! (not that we do not like sci-fi, we are just trying to keep a general theme here. If you are a sci-fi web site, please see the WebRing home page. You can search their existing web rings, and find one that is more suitable for your web site. There are many sci-fi related ones!) NOTE:If your web site contains information on the space program(s) and sci-fi, that is ok!
Now that you got through all of that, and you think your site belongs on the ring we would be happy to add you! But before you fill out the form we have provided, please read these very simple rules! Once accepted, you will copy the code we will be providing for you, and make the appropriate changes. (You can find the code to insert by following this link. If you have problems doing that, we can modify the code for you so that you just have to 'copy and paste' it right into your HTML!) We request that you upload the graphics to your server. These are the pictures on the web ring! We prefer that you do not link it from our server space. Not that it would hurt me, but it makes it faster to load if you have it on your server space! (and if geocities is having temporary problems it would be beneficial as well). If you do not know how to "capture" it to your hard drive from the web, email us and we will help you out. You will put the webring code on your page within 30 days of acceptance. There is a very simple reason for you to do this. By nature of the web ring ...giving folks the opportunity to "browse' like minded sites using the various options (random, next, skip, etc), if they did that and the option they choose takes them to your site, and you have not put the code on your page...that eliminates any further web ring visitors to jump to the other webring members site, thus defeating the purpose of the webring. You promise to not at anytime add adult materials to your site without first notifying and/or removing yourself from the webring. On With the Show! |
