8th CROATIAN MINUTE MOVIE CUP

REGULATIONS

1. 8th CROATIAN MINUTE MOVIE CUP is organized by GFR FILM-VIDEO and Croatian Film Association and will take place on May 26 –27, 2000 in Pozega, Croatia.

2. The festival is open to all foreign and Croatian non-professional film/video makers older than 16 who are allowed to send an unlimited number of films/videos.

3. The lenght of films/videos must not be longer than 60 seconds (including all titles and sound).

4. Films can be S-8 or 16 mm and the sound either magnetic or optical (on the film)

5. Videos can be VHS or SVHS (PAL system) each one on the separate cassette.

6. Pre-selection will be done by the jury appointed by the organizers and 3 best films/videos in the official programme will be awarded by the international jury of film/video experts with valuable prizes as well as medals and diplomas.

Special prize for promoting solidarity between nations or using new forms of expression will be given by UNICA.

One prize will be given by voting of the audience.

7. Films/videos will be projected in the best technical and security conditions and returned within 30 days after the festival. Return post fees will be paid by the organizers.

8. The organizers may use films/videos for strictly non-commercial purposes to promote the festival and make copies for the organizers when authorized by the author.

9. The organizers invite authors whose films/videos are in the official programme to come to the festival and offer free board and accommodation (May 25 – 28, 2000) but cannot cover travelling expenses. All other authors are also invited under favourable conditions.

10. Deadline for receiving your films/videos and entry forms is April 20, 2000 (all deliveries should be marked “no commercial value – for cultural purposes only”) at the address of the organizer:
