The Rench/Rentch Family Page

Peter Rench, his wife Margaretha, their sons: Joseph Peter, John, Andrew. They arrived in Philadelphia aboard the ship Harle, September 1, 1736. Peter and his family had many friends aboard the Harle including Jonathan Hager (founder of Hagerstown, Md., and three Studebaker (Slottenbecker) families, founders of the Studebaker cars of South Bend, Indiana. Peter and his family eventually settled in Hagerstown, Md.
