This site will be dedicated to the memory of a beautiful child whose life was cut short. Robert James (RJ) Schoen was born November 2, 1989. He was murdered August 4, 1991 at the tender age of 21 months. On these pages, you will find links to other survivor sites and information about this incredible little boy, my son.

I'm 31 years old. I'm a single parent to two wonderful little boys ages 6 and 4 years. I lived in Minneapolis, MN for 3 years. I recently moved to Denver, CO (April 1998). I left VA 4 years ago to find my direction and my path. I believe my work there is done and that I've been called elsewhere for the next lesson(s) in my life.

My spiritual path was started roughly seven years ago when one of my children was brutally murdered. It became stronger when my brother was murdered less than 2 years later. I had been raised in the Pentecostal and Assembly of God churches all of my life. When my son was murdered, I was told that it was "his time to go", etc. This didn't settle well with me, so I chose to go looking along a different path to find answers. My mother had started looking into Tao, Shinto, Hindi and many other Eastern and New Age thoughts.

I started by reading I Ching and Tao Te Ching ... then I read a few books that took a different spin on the subject such as "Tao of Pooh" and "Te of Piglet" by Benjamin Hoff. I felt James Redfield's "Celestine Prophesy" made a lot of sense... I've since seen many fields of energy around me and around the people surrounding my life. I've also done some study on regression therapy. I've very much enjoyed reading "You Were Born Again to be Together" by Dick Sutphen, among other authors. I think one of the strongest pieces of literature I've ready so far was by Michael Newman, PhD. It was a book titled "Journey of Souls". I highly recommend this to anyone interested in reincarnation, past-life regression or any other related topic.

I believe, in some ways, our souls start our much like we do... as children. As we grow and learn, we become stronger and more aware of the things around us.

Though reincarnation's purpose is self-improvement, even souls in the spirit world are imperfect in the majority of cases. The goal is perfection; however, it takes many reincarnations in order to attain this goal. Once a soul reaches a certain level, it stops reincarnating and begins a new type of learning process.

I'd be happy to discuss this and many other topics with anyone interested.
