My father passed away unexpectedly. It was a shock, and completely unexpected. My dad was my best friend; my hero, and I miss him terribly. But I thank God he was such a strong Christian, which took the element of doubt away completely. As surely as you are reading this, my dad is in heaven, praising God, in total peace and serenity. I get a little angry, occasionally, thinking of all of the things he's "missing" down here, but it is all of us that are missing the real thing-the one and only God on his throne in Heaven, where there is no pain, no sorrow, no death. Because of his influence, I am a man of principle and character, and most importantly, a Christian. There is no greater gift except one's own life, as Christ gave His for you and I. I love you, Dad. We will meet again.

The real measure of a man's wealth is what he has invested in eternity - " Do not store up treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy...But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven...For where you treasure is, there your heart will be also. " - Matthew 6:19-21
