NICORN: fabled beast, pure white in color, having the head and
legs of a horse and a long twisted horn set in the middle of his forhead.
Symbolic of holiness and chastity, the unicorn was prominent in tapestries
of the Middle Ages. It has been widely used in heraldic signs.
ESCRIPTION:Tall White Horse, Lion's Tail, Deer's leg, Goats feet and
Goat's beard on chin, Horse's body and head, and a long spiralling horn
prutruding from it's forhead. Unicorns stand about 16 to 18 hands high
and are usually muscular from living and surviving the forest.
ORN:The most important and remembered feature of the Unicorn, is it's
horn. The horn of the Unicorn is commonly refered to as a corn, hence the Unicorn
meaning "One Corn". This corn can grow to lengths of one metre long, and has a
continuious spiril along it. The corn is often thought to be purely white,
however, this is not necessarily the case. The corn usually has a white base,
a red middle, and a black tip.
AGIC:The Unicorn has no real powers, except that of immortality. There
are beliefs that the horn itself has some powers of its own. These powers
include:1.) Dipping the horn into wine, water, etc...to purify it and remove any poisons that may be in the liquid,
:2.) Crushing the horn will release certain magic, which will make
people fall in love or grow young.
