William Henry Lowe
November 4, 1938 ~ May 24, 1998

On Sunday, May 24, 1998, William Henry Lowe departed his earthly life and passed on to eternal rest.

William was born on November 4, 1938, in Washington D.C. He was the 6th child of 8 children born to the late Lonnie C. and Vietta Lowe and was educated in the public schools of the District of Columbia.

William was a very loving and caring person, who was always willing to help others. He loved people and adored children and children loved him. He enjoyed family gatherings and left a lasting impression on everyone with whom he came in contact.

In addition to his magnificent personality, William was talented. He was a natural artist, an outstanding painter by trade, a lover of sports, and a great challenger of various kinds of puzzles.

Aside from all of his artistic abilities, William had a spiritual side, and many times, he talked about the Lord and gave God the Glory. It was during these times, you could minister to him.

He could sing also and was blessed with a beautiful tenor voice. Just recently, while in route to the hospital, he and sister Viola had the opportunity to sing a few spiritual lyrics as they travelled along.

William will be missed, but yet, remembered for his loving personality, his unique sense of humor, and the many gifts which he shared with us.

A life is a song we write in our own key.
Each life we touch reflects a note that forms that melody.

We choose the theme and chorus of the song to bear our name.
And each will have a special sound. No two can be the same.

So when someone we love departs, in memory we find
their song plays on within the hearts of those they leave behind.

May the Melody of Your Song Ever Linger in Our Hearts.
