Welcome to Writer Zone! Many of you probably wonder about how to make a career out of writing, how to get your work published, and how to improve your writing skills. Here at Writer Zone we have books that can help you. Self-Editing for Fiction Writers. This book comes very highly recommended for writers.

By the Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life. While this book did not sound as technical as the others, it sounded pretty good.

Movies in the Mind: How to Build a Short Story. This book talks about writing for the beginner, while avoiding the textbook feel many writing books have.

Blood on the Forehead: What I Know About Writing. An author gives general tips for writers and then tells where she has gotten some of her ideas for stories.

Turning Life Into Fiction. This book tells you how to tap into your dreams and real life experiences to create works of fiction.

Writing Down the Bones: Freeing the Writer Within. A Zen-Age type book that talks about releasing the writer within.
